In cooperation with the DIHK, the Federal Ministry for the Environment and other partners, the German Sustainability Award committee is once again honoring Germany's most sustainable companies this year. Our subsidiary EcoFinia GmbH from Bochum - known for the internationally successful organic chocolate brands VIVANI and iChoc, which are produced in our chocolate factory in Herford with a great deal of expertise and attention to detail - made it to the final in the "Baked Goods & Confectionery" category and was able to prevail against established organic pioneers and industry partners in the final straight. "Our focus on sustainability and quality is what drives us and this award is a valuable recognition of our commitment. We would like to sincerely thank everyone who has supported us on this journey and recognised our commitment to an intact, sustainable environment with this award," says Andreas Meyer, co-founder and shareholder of EcoFinia GmbH, expressing his gratitude. "I would particularly like to thank my co-shareholder Cord Budde and the team at Weinrich Schokoladenfabrik, without whom the sustainable sourcing of raw materials would not be possible. The strong sustainability department has supported us significantly in our activities with great commitment." Andreas Meyer is thus crowning his life's work towards the end of his active career, which he will pass on to his son Noel in the future. Noel Meyer will symbolically accept the prize at the award ceremony on 23 November in Düsseldorf.
