This year, numerous companies from various food sectors were awarded the "Landesehrenpreis für Lebensmittel 2021" - the North Rhine-Westphalia Award for Food 2021.
We are also pleased to have been awarded the prize once again.
This prize is awarded to companies based in North Rhine-Westphalia in the food industry that, in addition to producing high-quality food, are also particularly committed to social and ecological sustainability.
Mrs Ursula Heinen-Esser from the Ministry of Agriculture praised the resilience of the companies, which had to face many challenges during the Corona period.
In addition to assessing the quality and taste of the food, the NRW Prize for Food also honours the provision of apprenticeships, pay in line with collective agreements and the use of an environmental management system.
