Last month, 88 companies from various industries were awarded the "Landesehrenpreis für Lebensmittel 2020" - the NRW Award for Food. We, too, are once again pleased to have been awarded this prize. The prize is awarded to companies from the NRW food industry that not only stand out for their high-quality food, but also show particular commitment to social and ecological sustainability. Environment and Agriculture Minister Ursula Heinen-Esser praised the high performance and outstanding reliability of the award winners despite difficult corona conditions. In addition to evaluating the quality and taste of the food, the NRW Award also honors the provision of apprenticeships, pay in line with collective agreements and the use of an environmental management system.
